About this item

This is the powerful Cox .049 Tee Dee.  The venerable Cox standard .049 Tee Dee was produced from 1963 through 1986.  Collect and/or run this nice example of a well respected "1/2 A" engine.  Though used, this engine has excellent compression and connecting rod to piston fit.  A new Cox needle valve was added to insure stable tuning.  Engine comes complete with a VP Model Engine Display case in contemporary white and the correct Cox high-compression glow plug.

  • 6x3, 5x3, or 5x3 three-bladed

 

Recommended fuel:

  • Airplane fuel with at least 20% nitro content.
