About this item
This NIB Cox .049 Black Widow is part
of the "Bee Family" and is a more powerful version of the Golden
Bee. It incorporates a large 4-minute tank which has vent
tubes to simplify fueling and to achieve a constant fuel flow.
Typically the Black widow has a black crankcase and a black tank,
although a lot of these engines were also produced with a silver
tank. This is one of the silver
tank Black Widows. Additional power is achieved
by the generous bypass flutes and extended port timing. This
engine is a post 1983 version and was manufactured in 1996 or after.
This engine comes complete and mounted in
a VP Model Engine Display Case with a contemporary white finish.
Also included is the original packaging, instructions, decals, snap
starter, spinner and two wrenches
